About Me

Hey there, fellow traveler.

I’m Anushka, a last-minute, spontaneous traveler who believes that traveling isn’t about spending a fortune but it’s about taking the leap. From daydreaming about far-off places to actually making it happen, my journey has been nothing short of an adventure, one trip leading to another, fueled by curiosity and a love for the unknown.

Why I Started This Blog?

Ever researched a destination only to find the same recycled stories and picture-perfect reviews? Yeah, me too. That’s why I started this blog just to share my raw, unfiltered travel experiences from the ground up. The good, the bad, and the unexpected all so that fellow travelers like me can have a realistic head start on their adventures.

My Most Memorable Experience?

That has to be getting up close with wild elephants in Kerala. I've always loved elephants, and the day I finally got to ride one, I let my inner child run wild. The best part? I got to fulfill my dream at a fraction of the cost that tour operators were charging. A win for my budget-friendly travel style.

My Travel Philosophy

I live by only motto:
"Ghumne zyada ke paise nahi lagte"
With that in mind, I don’t over-plan. I embrace spontaneity. My trips start with a rough sketch of an itinerary, a budget, and a destination that isn’t overrun by tourists. I rely on public transport to cut costs and keep my carbon footprint low.

For First-Time Travelers...

If you’ve been wanting to take that one trip stop waiting.
It doesn’t have to be international, expensive, or perfect.

Travel solo.
Travel with friends.
Travel however you love.

If you enjoy honest guides, offbeat adventures, and real costs, you’re in the right place. I’d love to connect, share stories, or help you plan your next journey.
You can reach me at mailtoanushkapillay@gmail.com or social media.

Happy travels,
Anushka ;)
